Sup guys!

My “russetid” is coming up. I already posted abit about this previously, but I’ll explain again what this is:
It’s a Norwegian tradition (I think they do something similar in Denmark, tho not sure) that students that are finishing the last year of high school celebrate their soon to come graduation by being “russ”. This lasts from April 28th to May 17th (last day being Norway’s day of independence). This is of course not obligatory, but most students do this as it’s a fun excuse to do crazy stuff and party alot, hahaha. It’s looked as the last stage before you become “grown up”.

While being russ you have to wear the obligatory “russ pants”. There are different kinds of russ with different colors on their pants, decided by which school/subject they are doing. My school is completely a “red russ” school. Some people go crazy and buy cars and/or busses to use only during this time, tho it’s more rare here where I live.

Also, as a russ you have to (or well, it’s not obligatory) these “tasks” from a list which is made every year by each district. Once you complete one task you get something to put on your “russ hat” to show/prove you’ve done it. These tasks are usually silly things like “Drink 1 bottle of wine within 5mins” or “Pretend to have a conversation with a lamppost for 10 minutes” or “Sleep in a teacher’s garden and make him/her breakfast” (those are actual tasks this year, haha) and alot of sexual acts as well, hahaha.

In short, basically all russ do is crazy shit and party alot, lol. Ofc, there are some russ who decide to stay completely sober during this time. This is of course abit weird, and it’s also during exams so it’s widely discussed and every year the tabloids complain about russ, hahaha.

ANYWAY,
I got my russ stuff abit ago. So I wanted to share with you this weird shit (btw, these are probably the shittiest pics ever, and I’m sincerely sorry):

So, this is what my russ pants looks like from front and behind! My mom had to help me with that “2012 RUSS”-marks, lol. When I see them like this I kinda wanna draw more stuff on them…

Most of the time they’re worn like this though, with the top down. I’ve blinged the flag!

I drew a crooked Nyancat on the other foot! Ok, so there’s a little story behind that. I wanted to get it as accurate as possible, so I started drawing it on a piece of graph paper. Then I planned to trace it with greaseproof paper, but it didn’t let my markers through to get on my pants! So I tried tissue paper, but that didn’t work either. I used fucking hours on drawing that Nyancat perfectly so in the end I was just sitting there staring at the Nyancat I had drawn. But in the end I sort of just gave up, traced the edges on the pants and tried to accurately draw the rest, though it became rather crooked and fail xD

WHOOO. So yeah, I’m going out this Friday. For the first time in… possible actual years XD It will be fun to party like a russ, whooo

OH AND PS: I got my extensions now!! But by the time I got them my purple hair had started to fade and my black roots came back, so I had to redye and now I had to buy another stock of purple hairdye! So it has to wait abit more :c
